After the Redcar car boot, which was, to be honest, a little disappointing, I stopped off at Seal sands to see the seals on the... er, sands. The Hartlepool / Billingham border is home to a large amount of harbour seals.
Work was recently undertaken to improve the flood defences, and install some proper viewing platforms so you can observe them.
