First walk of the year around the Hartlepool coast... started off through the Brus Tunnel, along the beach to the golf course, back along the embankment, then to the Headland.
I didn't know at the time, but there was going to be a training excersise by the lifeboat crew. In fact, I found out about it purely by chance. I was taking one of those wave pictures you see earlier on, and accidentally got splashed by the sea. Hilarity ensued by the people watching, but one guy informed me there was going to be a training exercis at 3PM.
Judging by those timestamps, they were pretty accurate with their timing
