London 2017 - Day 2
Borough Market, Golden Hinde, Olympic Park (Stratford), Abbey Road, Knightsbridge, and Westminster / Thames
I'm in no way a Beatles fan, but I've always wanted to cross the Abbey Road crossing, even though I'm well aware that it's not the original one, and that none of the street furniture is original either. But, you know, it's one of those things you have to do.
It's very underwhelming, and it's not really surprising. A worn out crossing that needs more paint, a white wall full of grafitti, that they must repaint every few weeks to "give someone else a go" and a couple of benches.
Oh, and of course, the row upon row of pissed off motorists, as yet another idiot steps out with his back to the traffic to take *that* photo.
